Edition 8: Weekly Tips for Connecting with your Contacts
It takes a lot of time and dedication to manage your contacts. Here are a few tips to keep you mentally prepared!
1. Set a Personal Strategy to Stay in Touch.
Use your productivity tools to help you build your own personal strategy for keeping in contact with your network. Set your mind to mentally be aware of constantly being in connection with those who are most important to you, or your business. By implementing your own strategic system of making connections, you are taking a great leap towards mastering your valuable relationships!
2. Work at It.
Relationships can be difficult to pursue, and do require time and dedication to make a relationship work mutually. Be sure to connect with your contact only if you are willing to make time for the contact, and build on the relationship. It's going to take some effort to master a relationships whether it be a friend, or with a business client.
3. Prioritize Contacts.
By categorizing your contacts by importance, you will have a better way to know when
to connect with someone. Connecting with those contacts that are of the most important to you will help master your most valuable relationships. You will be able to have long-term relationships by knowing when to connect with the right person at the right time. ;)
