Edition 6: Weekly Tips for Connecting with your Contacts

Title slide bg wide
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, make sure you are keeping in contact with those most valuable to you! ;)

1. Blog to your heart's content.

It's very common for a person to have a blog these days, especially with free sites like Wordpress. Blogs are a great way to share day-to-day information, communicate ideas, and allow your contacts to know what you've been up to without having to stay in contact every day.

2. Write Letters.

I'm sure it's been awhile since you've actually sat down and wrote a letter to a friend, although the excitement still remains to send and receive letters. It creates a feeling of closeness between two people. In this age of technology, a letter may create a unique connection between you and your contacts, and may be a positive jump in your relationship.

3. Talk about Yourself.

Personalize conversations with your contacts by talking about yourself. Just be sure it's something your customer can relate to and isn't too personal. Share a funny story, or a news story that recently impacted your life. By revealing information about yourself, you're on your way to building valuable relationships!
