Fun fact: email usage may surpass text messages

Email has eclipsed SMS as a more widely used communication method, but only just; 97% of panellists used SMS, but 98% used email during the two-month period of observation.

It's worth noting that these figures were taken from a sample size of 1,000 people who are probably more likely to email more than they send text messages. But still, it's a fascinating little bit of information.
