Come nightfall, half of the Contactually team will be in New York City for none other than Inman News's Real Estate Connect! This year's Real Estate Connect conference is set to take place from Wednesday, January 16th to Friday, January 18th at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. Tony, Jeff and Brian will be at the conference for the duration of the week, and can't wait to meet all of you who will be there as well.

First things first: Come say hi to us at the Contactually booth in the Start-up Alley in the Exhibit Hall! We'll be at table 17 from 8am-6pm on Wednesday and 8am-5pm on Thursday. We'd really love to see all of you, and who knows? We might even have something special for you if you drop by.

Now without further ado, we present to you the 7 sessions that you CAN'T afford to miss at Real Estate Connect 2013 in New York City.

1 . Agent Reboot: Wednesday, January 16, 9am-1pm

Between social, technology, mobile, video, gadgets, and the World Wide Web in general, there are so many new tools at your disposal that can make or break your real estate career. Agent Reboot is a GREAT four hour session that will go over all of these new tools and tricks in detail. From sessions like "How to Cultivate and Build Relationships on Social Media" to "Best in Class: Apps, Agents & Ideas" with Chris Smith, the Agent Reboot session is one that you'll definitely want to attend, preferably with your iPad in hand, ready to take notes.

2. What Makes a Great Real Estate Story?: Wednesday, January 16, 3:55pm-4:15pm

Outside of the realm of technology, one of the dominating trends that we've seen in marketing involves selling an experience or a story. How can you make sure that you're effectively reaching your target market with the correct audience? Come learn how to best market your real estate story from editors at publications like the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times during this engaging session.

3. The Fun, the Challenge and the Opportunity with New Media: Wednesday, January 16, 5:10pm-5:30pm

Come hear New York Times business writer David Carr speak about new media's impact on business, and more specifically, on real estate. David has been writing about the intersection of media, business and culture. He's a great speaker and is sure to bring some great insights to the table and give you ways to maximize the effects of new media on your business.

4. New Kids on the Block: Thursday, January 17, 9:05am-9:30am

Come meet the founders of cool new technology start-ups that aim to change the world of real estate as we know it. You'll hear from notable people like Jimmy Mackin of Curaytor.com and Frugyl, and our own Tony Cappaert will talk about Contactually's role as a CRM for Realtors as well. You're bound to walk away with at least one new tool that can benefit your business.

5. The World at Your Fingertips: Thursday, January 17th, 10:15am-10:35am

There's no question: mobile is here to stay, and it's taking over. Now, you can order anything from wine, car services, eyewear, and almost anything else under the sun in the palm of your hand using only your fingertips. This mobile-based discussion is bound to be lively and incredibly relevant.

6. Technology Case Study: innovating on a new platform for old use cases: Thursday, January 17th, 2:55pm-3:40pm

Once again, Tony will grace the stage in this session discussing how a new technology platform like Contactually can be applied to the world of real estate as we know it. Come learn why a CRM for Realtors is such a critical tool for increasing your opportunities for referrals and repeat business. Caren Maio of Nestio, app making it easier to find a place to live, will join Tony for this session, which is one that you'll surely want to attend.

7. Join the #ICNY conversation on Twitter throughout the entire conference

Last but not least, I encourage all of you to monitor the Twitter conversations going on at Real Estate Connect throughout the duration of the conference. Make sure to follow @InmanConnect -- and @Contactually while you're at it -- and if you're Tweeting and searching yourself, the #ICNY hashtag is definitely your friend. I've learned some really cool things and met some really cool people at conferences like these, just by participating in social media conversations. Come to the conference with the Twitter app ready to go on your smartphone and iPad and join the fun!
